From Board of Health lists of abandoned privy wells, thousands of images, to the original architectural plans for City Hall, the records in the City Archives hold the key to innumerable inquiries into Philadelphia’s past. Learn how archivists preserve the City’s one-of-a-kind collections and make them accessible to genealogists, city officials, preservationists, and researchers from the general public. We’re conveniently located next to Yards and near other restaurants – make an evening of it!
