Join us for an evening filled with temporary tattoos, origami, a library-wide scavenger hunt, and more – all based on animals from the archives!

More than a dozen local archival institutions will be at the Free Library the evening of October 25th to celebrate all things animals and archives with hands-on activities and views of rarely seen material. Stop by to learn about Tony the Wonder Horse and the other animal actors in The Three Stooges movies; Albert C. Barnes’s favorite dog, and occasional secretary, Fidele de Port Manec’h; Pete the Leprosy Pig; unicorns; and so much more! PAWS will also be holding a pet adoption event, the Culinary Literacy Center will be cooking up sweet potato dog treats (sign up here), and the library will be hosting a scavenger hunt!
