PHS staff members will be on hand to talk about their specially selected items on display in the reading room, including a 16-foot-long spear associated with a 19th-century missionary to Damascus, a curiously-shaped wooden ballot box from the 1700s, and Reformation-era rare books featured in celebration of the 500th anniversary of Martin Luther’s 95 Theses.

During the open house, visitors may also view the current in-house exhibit on Presbyterians and the American Revolution, sign up for behind-the-scenes tours, and enjoy food, drink, and conversation.
