Come behind the Girard College wall and enjoy Founder’s Hall and its remarkable archival and object collections. Staff at this 100-foot tall Greek revival landmark will be offering complimentary tours showcasing materials from Stephen Girard, one of the richest Americans of all time, and the unprecedented school he endowed for disadvantaged youth. Explore documents ranging from hospital records from the 1793 yellow fever epidemic to menus of school dining hall cuisine.
