Spice Cookies vs. Oreos: which is more “Quaker”? Come to the Friends Historical Library for our 4th Annual Quaker Cookie Face-Off and Open House event to find out! Peruse our thematic pop-up exhibit and then vote for your cookie of choice. It’s a great time to learn about Quakerism, browse Friends Historical Library resources, and celebrate Archives Month with a delicious cookie.
While you’re here, be sure to catch our special exhibit “Quaker Reliquary.” Curated by Henry Wilson ’21, it showcases interesting artifacts and curiosities from the Friends Historical Library’s objects collection. When else will you get a chance to see a clipping of George Washington’s hair, a piece of wood from William Penn’s house, or a spinning jenny model crafted out of chicken bones?
Friends Historical Library is located on the first floor of McCabe Library, immediately to your left upon entering the building.
