Is the ability to read cursive a dying art? Were you taught how to read and write in cursive during school? At this pop-up event in the Morris Library Information Room, participants will test their skills with fun and challenging opportunities to decipher cursive handwriting as found on manuscript materials in the archives. With opportunities to view samples from Special Collections and popular online transcription projects, these activities highlight the archival issue of access to the historic record. Participants will also be able to make buttons, chat with librarians and archivists, and snag small giveaways!
