Join us for the opening reception for our newest exhibit “From Revolution to Commemoration: American’s Founding and Catholic Memory!”

This exhibit examines the role Catholics played in the American Revolution and how later Catholics decided to commemorate America’s founding. The exhibit will display original letters and documents from the American Revolution as well as memorabilia from the various celebrations of the Declaration of Independence. The exhibit is a way to highlight the role of Catholics in United States history and reflect on how Catholics remember their past.

The event will include a behind the scenes tour of the archives at 6:00 pm as well as a reception, with drinks and light hors d’oeuvres.
