Archives Month Philly is proud to present an evening showcasing films and videos from Philadelphia-area archives and museums. Past films have included: Fred Rogers’ surreal predecessor to “Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood”; a 1973 documentary about a beloved Italian Market cheese monger; Philly’s finest 1960s drag queens; a Gilbert and Sullivan-style operetta about selling insurance; and 1970s Catholic mimes. Join your archivist and curator hosts on October 28th to see what emerges from the archives this year!
