Visit Swarthmore College, McCabe Library this Halloween to learn about the Spiritualism movement that swept mid- 19th–early 20th-century America. Books and archival documents show what some prominent Quakers—whether alive at the time, or already deceased and sending messages from the Spirit World—had to say about the trend. Consult a fortune teller. Partake in snacks and temperance drinks. Join the spirit circle for a séance pageant at 4:30pm or 6:00pm.
