In this virtual event, the HLWG caps off a years-long effort to document the impact of harmful language present in finding aids created by PACSCL member institutions, which can be found in the Philadelphia Area Archives Portal. Projects include the 2023 Society of American Archivists Foundation funded Harmful Language Audit as well as the Maturity Model Survey.

Participants will learn about the recently completed best practices, and will have the opportunity to pose questions to the group about its efforts.

Come prepared to brainstorm potential collaborative projects!
